Pre-heat oven to 200°C / 180°C fan assisted.
To make the dry rub, mix all the ingredients together in a small bowl.
Brush oil all over your Sicín Sásta chicken then sprinkle over the dry rub mix and rub it all over the skin.
Pour out half the beer from the can (something for the chef to enjoy) then carefully lower the chicken onto the can, legs down, so that it is propped upright with the can in the cavity.
Place chicken and can onto a roasting dish then carefully transfer to the pre-heated oven. Cook for about 1 hr 20 minutes – 1 hour 30 minutes until the chicken is browned and the juices run clear.
Serve with slaw, sweetcorn and potato wedges.
