Creamy Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 Sicín Sásta chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp oregano
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 600 ml double cream
  • 1 shallot, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chicken stock powder
  • 120 ml water
  • 60 g fresh spinach
  • 200 g chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 150 g cheddar cheese, grated

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan).
  • Score each chicken breast. In a bowl, coat the chicken with the oregano, smoked paprika, garlic powder, sea salt, and pepper.
  • Add the shallot, garlic, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, stock powder, cream, and water to a baking dish. Mix to combine.
  • Place the chicken breasts into the baking dish and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  • Bake for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice.
